Somebody’s looking down on us

The Sky Blues took their unbeaten record to 4 games with a 0-0 draw away at Reading to stay 5th in the Championship. In what turned out to be a rather defensive performance from Coventry it was Reading who had the lion’s share of chances hitting the post before having a shot cleared off the line. Marlon King hit the post late on for city but both teams held out for a point and Kieran Westwood kept his 4th straight clean sheet.

With Coventry putting a poor start to November well behind them, December looks set to be a tough month which see’s Norwich visit Coventry next week for a 5th vs 6th encounter before Coventry travel to Cardiff boxing day followed by a home tie with QPR. The general feeling in the Sky Blue camp is 4 points from the next 3 games is the minimum expectation to keep our play off dream alive.

Aidy Boothroyd puzzles me, his tactics are so different to all the other managers Coventry City have had, but it works. The team are now playing together and actually look like they want to play for the shirt they wear.
